As one of the country’s leading manufacturers of sports equipment in the UK Mark Harrod Ltd was honoured to be awarded the sole supplier contract for the The Danone Nations Cup Held at Wembley Stadium.
The Danone Nations Cup is the world’s largest international football tournament for 10 to 12-year olds. 32 countries and millions of children took part in the international qualifying rounds that were held all over the world.
The finals tournament kicked off at Surrey Sports Park on the 3rd of September with teams from all over the globe competing for a place at the world finals held at Wembley Stadium on the 7th September. The Danone Nations Cup ambassador Zinedine Zidane, was on hand throughout the tournament to offer advice and support to the next generation of world class players making this a truly unforgettable experience.
After supplying the European Women’s Under 19 Championships in Wales only a few weeks earlier the team at Mark Harrod Ltd were more than prepared when it came to installing world class equipment to a tight deadline.
A whole range of goals and equipment were supplied and assembled at both Surrey Sports Park and for the final held at Wembley Stadium. Throughout the tournament Mark Harrod Ltd’s installation team and Mark himself were on hand to offer technical support and contribute to the smooth running of the competition.
